Peter Straker (born 7 November 1943[1]) played Commander Sharrel in the Doctor Who television story Destiny of the Daleks.
He shared his memories of the story on the 28th edition of Big Finish's charity podcast series Toby Hadoke's Who's Round.
Career[]
As well as an actor, Peter has also worked as a singer, notably a backing vocalist (and dressing up in drag) on Freddie Mercury's cover of the song The Great Pretender.
