Third Officer Jane Blythe was a Royal Navy officer who served as Captain John Hart's secretary at HMS Seaspite.
Biography[]
Blythe wrote correspondence and notes for Captain Hart, and also often served food. She later informed Captain Hart that the Doctor was seen out at sea, chasing after another boat. (TV: The Sea Devils)
Following the defeat of the Sea Devils and the Master's escape in a stolen hovercraft, Blythe helped the Doctor and Jo Grant to work out that the evil renegade Time Lord was heading for Devil's End. (PROSE: The Eight Doctors)
