Biography[]

When a wind passed through Devil's End, Groom was nearly compelled to kill Olive Hawthorne, the local white witch, with a large rock. Fortunately, Miss Hawthorne chanted a spell that seemed to stop the wind — leaving Groom wondering how and why he came to be holding the rock.

While keeping guard over the Devil's Hump, Groom was crushed to death by Azal. His body was discovered by the Third Doctor and Jo Grant. (TV: The Dæmons)
