The Thirteenth Doctor kept fig rolls in a biscuit dispenser, alongside garibaldis, ginger nuts, (COMIC: The Forest Bride) and custard creams, (TV: The Ghost Monument) implying that the fig roll is a biscuit.

In the 1990s, the Curator, living in the attic flat of 107 Baker Street, stuffed his kitchen cupboards with packets of fig rolls. This proved an issue for Robin Bright-Thompson, who so disliked fig rolls, he was unwilling to eat them to sustain himself. (AUDIO: The Keys of Baker Street)
