David Hankinson was a Dalek operator in the BBC Wales Doctor Who series in 2005-2008. He also voiced Anton Lichtfuss in the Big Finish audio story Loups-Garoux and played Max in P.R.O.B.E.'s Ghosts of Winterborne in 1996.
He also contributed to the charity reference book Behind the Sofa: Celebrity Memories of Doctor Who, the audio commentary for the animated recreation of The Power of the Daleks and the documentaries Cheques, Lies and Videotape, The Last Battle and Friends and Foe.

In 1997, he played a character called Peter in A Little Rain Must Fall and was uncredited as a London work officer in Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince in late 2009.
