The Dalek Survival Guide identified a "Type 2" of the Dalek Invasion Force which operated on an occupied planet Earth in the "version of history B". (PROSE: Dalek Survival Guide)

Characteristics[]

The Dalek drones of the Invasion Force Type 2 operated casings mostly coloured silver, consisting of the dome section, middle section and lower section, the bottom of which was a tall black fender. Two cone-shaped luminosity dischargers stood atop the dome and flashed when the Dalek spoke, coloured blue like its body, alongside mostly silver accessories; the neck rings which supported its black neck grille, slats across the middle section, middle section bands atop and below the arm sockets, and the eyestalk that connected the eye lens, which appeared as a shining white disc at the face of a black ball, to the dome's pivot, supported by five light blue insulator discs. The left arm of the middle section was a gunstick, while the right arm alternated between claw manipulator arms and sucker arms. The sense globes in the drones' lower section were coloured blue. (TV: Daleks' Invasion Earth 2150 A.D.)

History[]

A day to come[]

Recovered on Earth in 2094, a collected edition of the Dalek Chronicles was released in print to the public. A newspaper article was printed to report those news, illustrated with a photograph showing a platoon of silver Daleks, (PROSE: The Dalek Chronicles Found!) appearing as they did in the 2150 occupation thwarted by Dr. Who. (TV: Daleks' Invasion Earth 2150 A.D.)

Behind the scenes[]

The Doctor Who Technical Manual (1983) identifies the Daleks of Daleks' Invasion Earth 2150 A.D., distinguished by the combination of claw manipulator, slats and enlarged fender, as the "Type III", following the "Type I" and followed by the "Type V".
