Brightly Shone The Moon That Night was the fourth and final story in the audio anthology Blood on Santa's Claw and Other Stories, which comprised the two hundred and fifty-ninth release in Big Finish's monthly range. It was written by Nev Fountain and featured Colin Baker as the Sixth Doctor, Nicola Bryant as Peri Brown and Luke Allen-Gale as Joe Carnaby.

The Were Lords were created by the Time Lords to fight in the Vampire War.
Joe reveals he altered the TARDIS' destinations by using the Secondary Control Room.
The Were Lords can regenerate a limited number of times between human and wolf form when exposed to a pulse of artron energy.
