The Mother of Waters convent is located in Rachia, a large city in Sarain. It was led by First Daughter jian Cadao, a paternal cousin of Thayet jian Wilima. It offered sanctuary to refugees of the Saren Civil War, but did not extend sanctuary to full K'miri like Buriram Tourakom.^[1]

The First Daughter also did not offer sanctuary to Thayet jian Wilima, even though she was a princess, because power had now shifted and it would be dangerous for all people of the convent for the princess to stay.
