Lock and Latch are quirky, strange beings. They love cracking jokes and making fun of people, Steve in particular. They are also quite loyal towards Merlin. They dislike shadow magic and view it as dangerous and suspicious.

• Dark Magic/Shadow Mahic: Lock and Latch are not able to ward off shadow magic, which is shown when Claire was able use her shadow magic to create a portal to enter Nimue’s cave, bypassing them.
