Vargas was a Human male who was a member of the criminal organization SMERSH. He was Stavro's right-hand man.
Biography[]
Vargas was a member of SMERSH in 32 BBY when the organization's leader Stavro attempted to destroy MI5 and all it's agents.
When MI5 arrived at SMERSH's hideout on the ice planet Rinnk, they took MI5 agent Jace Bont as prisoner. But after the rest of MI5 stormed to hideout, Vargas tried to help Stavro escape.
Vargas ended up killing MI5 agent Pandolfo Taproot. Only seconds later, Vargas was killed by Jace Bont.

Vargas' name and likeness was based on that of Vargas from the 1965 James Bond film Thunderball.
