Telak Janthir was a Moff of the Sith Empire who became a distinguished military commander before he was captured by the Galactic Republic. He agreed to become a collaborator, joining the Republic-backed Moff Axlin Ceptor's Imperial government-in-exile as the minister of war. Together with fellow defected Moff Rethana Lett-Shara, they were known as the "two pillars" of the government-in-exile.
Biography[]
Telak Janthir became known as a brilliant strategist and military commander during the Great Galactic War, who conquered a number of primitive planets in the Outer Rim Territories. Janthir allowed Imperial archaeologists to examine the plunder he took from the conquered worlds, and asked them to study an artifact built by the Kwa that the archaeologists identified amongst the spoils. However, towards the end of the war in 3,654 BBY, Janthir was captured by the Galactic Republic. He spent some time at the Belsavis prison before being recruited by Moff Axlin Ceptor. The man was also a captured Moff, and he had agreed to collaborate with the Republic, creating an anti-Sith Imperial government-in-exile. Moff Janthir decided to join him, seeing this as an opportunity to greater power than he had under the Empire.
