Corana Serasai was a female human starfighter pilot who was a member of the Rebel Alliance's Starfighter Corps.
She was the wife of fellow ace pilot Mical Heste and the mother of Oona Heste.

Early life[]
Mom and dad were rebels themselves, fighting against the Separatist oppression of their home. You could say that fighting back is in my blood.

Corana was born in the walled city of Iziz on Onderon in 20 BBY. Her parents were members of the Onderon resistance; Corana claimed that she was conceived following the rebellion's victory and the reinstatement of king Ramsis Dendup.
Galactic Civil War[]
Corana served with distinction in the Rebel starfighter corps, earning the status of ace.
New Republic[]
Corana took a posting with the New Republic Defense Fleet, training with the then-experimental Tri-Wing S-91x Pegasus Starfighters. She was among the first of a new generation of starfighter pilots, placed in a squadron of Tri-Wings.

First Order-Resistance war[]
Following the Hosnian Cataclysm, Corana joined the Resistance with her husband. She joined Longsword Squadron, once again flying a B-wing.

Physical description[]
Corana was a slender human woman who had a lean, muscular body build. She had dark skin and dark brown-black hair. Her brown eyes were almond shaped, resting under a pair of thick arched eyebrows.

Corana was more than a capable pilot, earning the title of ace for herself during her time with the Rebel Alliance.
Equipment[]
For combat missions, Corana piloted a T-65B X-wing starfighter first and, later, a A/SF-01 B-wing starfighter; later during her service to the New Republic, she flew a Tri-Wing S-91x Pegasus Starfighter. When flying, she wore an orange flight suit and a white K-22995 flight helmet; she swapped to a white flight suit as a B-wing pilot and a blue and white suit during her service to the New Republic. Cora's helmet had an orange visor, teal colored detailing, and a stylized Starbird insignia on the left side. A "Snubble special" pistol was kept and used as a sidearm.
