I'm CC-1981, you could just call me "Fall". I'm the commander of the Diplomatic Escort Service.
—CC-1981 to Richard Williams
CC-1981, nicknamed "Fall", was a Coruscant Guard clone shock trooper whom served during the Clone Wars. As a clone shock trooper, he held the rank of Clone Commander and was placed in command of the Coruscant Guard's Diplomatic Escort Service, which was responsible for the protection and escort of diplomats during the Clone Wars.
During the Clone Wars, Fall organized and led a platoon of clone shock troopers from the Diplomatic Escort Service and had accompanied Senator Vessa to her homeworld Kaai, an Outer Rim world. At some point during the Clone Wars, he requested the help of Admiral Annabelle Nakamura for assistance after it was discovered that Vessa had been kidnapped. With Annabelle's assistance, he was able to successfully rescue her and returned to Coruscant with the senator.
After the Clone Wars had come to an end and the reorganization of the Galactic Republic into the Galactic Empire, Fall continued his service and retained his position as commander of the Diplomatic Escort Service, though it would no longer serve a purpose after the dissolution of the Imperial Senate in 0 BBY, and was transferred back into the mainstream forces of the Coruscant Guard, keeping his rank as Commander.
Personality[]
Like all Jango Fett clone troopers, Fall had developed a personality of his own, different than his original host. He was considered by many clone shock troopers as an excellent leader. However, he was also skilled in hand-to-hand combat which led to him sometimes making use of his hands instead of his weapons.
While a great leader, Fall also cared a lot for his fellow clones, having learned the names of all clones he led during the Clone Wars. As the commander of the Diplomatic Escort Service, he also showed this care for the senators he protected, especially Vessa, who personally noted his skills and abilities during her visit to the Outer Rim planet Earth.
Equipment[]
He wore the Phase I clone trooper armour with an antenna and wielded a standard issue DC-15 blaster rifle and two DC-17 blasters. Later in the war, he upgraded to the Phase II clone trooper armour and added various equipment to his armour, including a left pauldron and an antenna, and also wore a traditional kama half kilt around his waist.
