Brazen

Alpha-60, aka, "Brazen", was an Alpha-class ARC Trooper of the GAR's Special Operations Brigade under Jedi General Arligan Zey.  

Biography[]

Born on 32 BBY on Kamino as the clone of the legendary Bounty Hunter and Mand'alor, Jango Fett, Alpha 60 was one of 100 Alpha-class ARC Troopers that were personally trained by Fett. Although, unknown to the Kaminoans, and Jango himself, 60 had a small glitch, which made him non-obedient, and un-docile. Fearing what would happen if the Kaminoans found out about his condition, 60 pretended to be obedient and trained hard under Jango.

However he would eventually be found out by Cuy'val Dar members Kal Skirata, and Freya Mereel-Orar. Instead of turning him in, they instead train in the Mandalorian Warrior ways. During this time he became friends with the Null ARC adopted sons of Skirata, and Freya's own son, Marik.

He earned the name Brazen, for his shameless conviction in the Mandalorian culture.

Right before the Clone Wars broke out, he, along with his ARC brothers were put in stasis by the Kaminoans, out of fear for the ARC Troopers indepedent thinking, only to be brought out by Master Shaak Ti during the First Battle of Kamino. During the War, Brazen will partake in many Special Ops missions alongside the Clone Commando Yayax Squad, and many other special units.

During one of these ops, which was to steal a set of CIS starfighter schematics, he met a female Mirialan Mandalorian named Iseena Dimuili, who was also after the schematics. After a tense introduction, the two worked together and succeeded in obtaining the schematics, with Brazen making a copy and giving it to Iseena, who thanked him by kissing the surprised ARC Trooper.

When Order 66 was issued, he disobeyed, and deserted along with Clan Skirata to the Mandalorian Union. He will then participate in the Mando-Imperial War, the Second Galactic Cold War, and so on.....

He eventaully reunites with Iseena, and after a few months, the two became lovers and married in the traditional Mandalorian way.

Early life[]

"When I first met Brazen, I knew that behind the mask of an obedient clone, there was a free-spirited warrior, just wanting to stay alive long enough to find a true meaning to his existance," -Kal Skirata, on Alpha-60, aka Brazen.

Born on the Wild Space world of Kamino, as Alpha-60 as part of the Alpha-Class ARC Trooper Program, Brazen was known for his quick thinking, and ability to adapt to any situation. He was regarded by Jango Fett, who trained the other Alpha ARCs as an unpredictable individual. During training he worked well with others, but mostly prefers to work alone, not comfortable in taking respnsibility.

But, unknown to Fett, and the Kaminoans, Brazen had a small glitch, as while the other Alpha ARCS were slightly more independent than their regular Clone Trooper brethren, Brazen was completely independent and not docile. However, fearing what would happen to him if the Kaminoans found out, he kept his secret from Fett and the other Alphas. He then pretended to act like he was still an obedient clone, with the Kaminoans nonethewiser.  

He kept this up for at least four weeks, and hadn't been found out since.

Then, one day, when he thought he was alone, he let his mask slip for a moment, and commented how he hated acting like a brain-dead droid. Unknown to the ARC Trooper trainee, he was heard by eavesdropping Cuy'val Dar Training Sergeants Kal Skirata, and Freya Mereel-Orar, who took an curious interest in the clone, seeing through his physical and mental mask as an Regular Clone. Making their presence known to him, 60 immediately became nervous, knowing he was found out, until he was surprised when the two Mandalorians informed that they had no intention of turning him in to the Kaminoans. When he asked why they didn't turn him in, their answer was that they didn't want to see a gifted Clone such as 60 wasted, all because he wasn't genetically altered like his brothers.

He then was taken by the two and trained in the Mandalorian Culture, learning the language, and training in the arts. He even studied the Super Commando Codex written by True Mandalorian Leader, Jaster Mereel. During this training, he became friends with the Null-class ARC Troopers, the adopted sons of Skirata, and  Freya's own son, Marik Mereel-Orar. The bond of brotherhood will be shared by them during the duration of the Clone Wars and beyond...

It was then he earned the name Brazen, for his shameless convinction in the Mandalorian Way, and his attitude.

When his and the other Alpha-class ARCs completed their training six months before the Clone Wars began, the Kaminoans, fearful of the ARCs unpredictability, put the special Clones into stasis. Kal and Freya, along with their respective sons, objected to this, but were convinced by Brazen to let him be put into stasis, knowing it would only be temporary.

Service in the Clone Wars[]

First Battle of Kamino[]

"When I saw Alpha-60 fight, I knew that the Force had a different destiny for him," - Jedi Master Shaak Ti, after the First Battle of Kamino.

When the Clone Wars erupted between the Confederacy of Independent Systems, and the Galactic Republic, the Alpha ARC Troopers were not needed until the First Battle of Kamino, when Jedi Master Shaak Ti of the Jedi High Council, ordered the ARCs to be released, and save Tipoca City from the Separatist Attack. During the Battle, Brazen single-handedly destroyed a company of B1 and B2 battle droids who were surrunding a squad of Clone Troopers. His actions were witnessed by Shaak Ti, who requested Brazen be promoted to Captain.

 Serving with the Special Operations Brigade[]

After his promotion, Brazen and the other Alpha ARCs were transferred to the Special Operations Brigade under the command of Arligan Zey. It is here he was reunited with his Null ARC brothers, as well as meeting the Clone Commando Squads Yayax, Delta, and Omega.

He then began doing secret ops behind enemy lines, such as sabotage, Guerilla Warfare, espionage, and assassinations. However, unknown to the ARC Trooper, one mission will put him on the path to his true future.

Mission to Utapau[]

"The Mission to Utapau was where I first met the woman that changed my life" - Brazen, on meeting Iseena Dimuili on Utapau.

In early 21 BBY, after hearing rumors of a new starfighter being built by the Techno Union on Utapau, based on the

designs of an ancient Sith starfighter. Arligan Zey assigned Brazen the mission to confirm these rumors and, if possible, bring back detailed schematics of the craft. 

Using a Nu-class shuttle, Brazen arrived at the designated spot on the planet. After landing on the outskirts of the secret Separatist base, he then proceeded on foot, while in disguise. As he arrived at the perimeter, he then proceeded to think of a plan on how to get into the base when, to his surprise, and curiosity, he spotted a hole, big enough for a person, in the wall. Deducing that someone else was here looking for the plans, Brazen entered the same way this other infiltrator did.

As he began his search for the schematics, the alarms sounded, confirming the ARC Trooper's suspicions that somebody else was there for the schematics. Knowing he still had a mission to do, he continued his search for the plans, until finally arriving at the test building, and entered the room where the schematics were. But, to his surprise, someone was already there. The figure was clad in Mandalorian armor, and could tell by the shape of the figure that it was a woman.
