Echiniscus testudo[1][2][3][6][7][8][9][10][11][12][13][14][15][16][17] är en djurart som tillhör fylumet trögkrypare, och som först beskrevs av Louis Michel François Doyère 1840. Echiniscus testudo ingår i släktet Echiniscus och familjen Echiniscidae.[18][19][20] Arten är reproducerande i Sverige.[20] Inga underarter finns listade i Catalogue of Life.[18]
