The Turtle in Super Smash Bros. Ultimate
The Turtle is an ally from The Legend of Zelda, first appearing in The Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask. It also appears in the Great Bay stage in Super Smash Bros. Melee and Super Smash Bros. Ultimate.
The Turtle occasionally pops in and out of the water. Fighters can use the Turtle as a platform; the two small palm trees on its back can also be used as platforms. Whenever the Turtle points its head up, it is a cue that it is about to go back underwater. Fighters must get off the Turtle or else they will sink underwater and be KO'd. Sometimes, after the Turtle re-emerges from the water, its body and face start to face south, toward the screen, giving fighters less room to fight on the Turtle.
