The Kirby Team is a team that is made up of Kirby clones that appear in 1P Game from the original Super Smash Bros., Adventure in Super Smash Bros. Melee, and Classic Mode in Super Smash Bros. Brawl, Super Smash Bros. for Nintendo 3DS and Wii U, and Super Smash Bros. Ultimate.
In Super Smash Bros.[]
In the original Super Smash Bros., the player battles a Kirby Team (but only 8 Kirbys) on the Dream Land stage. This is on Stage 8 of 1P Game. The Kirby Team in the original game consists of Kirbys that already have the character's abilities. The Kirby team is also lighter, making them easier to KO. Defeating the Kirbys in the order they appear (respecting the characters' order in the character select screen) results in achieving the Kirby Ranks bonus. The final Kirby faced will either be a secret character (among those unlocked) or a plain Kirby.
In Super Smash Bros. Melee[]
Like its frequent appearance on 1P Game, the Kirby team in Melee consists of fifteen Kirbys that come with a random character ability from among the currently unlocked characters. If the player defeats the Kirby team in Melee under thirty seconds, they will have the chance to fight Giant Kirby. In Classic, the Kirby Team appears on Stage 8 as a random multi-character opponent. But none possess a copy ability.
The Kirby Team appears in Event Match. The Kirby Team appears in Event 16: Kirby's Air-raid. In this event, the player's assigned character is Kirby wearing his [[Palette Swap (Super Smash Bros. Melee)|default color (which is pink). The player (as Kirby) must KO 10 other Kirbys (all wearing the yellow alternate color). Like in Melee's Classic, they don't possess a copy ability. The stage in the said event is Corneria. In Event 28: Puffballs Unite!, a Kirby Team appears. However, only 14 of them and four appearing at a time. This functions like the Kirby team fights in both 1P Game in Smash 64 and Adventure in Melee.
In Super Smash Bros. Brawl[]
In Brawl, the Kirby Team may appear as a random multi character opponent on Stage 5 of Classic. But like in Melee's Classic, none possess a copy ability.
In Super Smash Bros. for Nintendo 3DS and Wii U[]
In the 3DS version of Smash 4, the Kirby Team (like in Brawl's Classic) appears as a random multi character on Stage 5 of Classic. But like in Melee and Brawl, they do not possess a copy ability.
In Super Smash Bros. Ultimate[]
In Ultimate, although the Kirby Team does not possess Copy Abilities like in the previous games, nor are all 8 of them fought in one stage, they appear in the Classic routes of Dr. Mario, Sonic, Wii Fit Trainer, Rosalina, and Hero each.
