At a bar, Stuart drinks with the angel Zachariah. They both express how things aren't going their way and exchange stories. Zachariah makes some comments confusing to Stuart, like "pig-filthy humans", when suddenly the building starts to shake, accompanied by an intense light. It's Michael, the Host of Heaven's leader. The experience leaves everyone at the bar (except for Zachariah) deaf, blind, and dead.
