Owen Mills was the son of Sheriff Jody Mills.

Background[]

Owen resided in Sioux Falls, South Dakota with his parents during his lifetime. Owen eventually died of unknown causes, leaving his parents devastated.

In 2010, Owen was resurrected along with many Sioux Falls residents by Death, and he promptly returned to his family. His mother Jody tried to keep him safe despite warnings from Sam and Dean Winchester.

Suddenly, Owen fell ill with a high fever and Jody tried to get help from a doctor. When she returned to the room she left him lying in, she found her husband dead and her son eating from his remains.

This terrified Jody and made her realize this was no longer her son Owen. Sam dragged Jody out and shot Owen in the head, killing him. His body is later burned in a massive funeral pyre along with all the other zombies the Winchesters and Jody managed to kill.
