Death's coffin is a magical casket designed to contain Death with chains. It's buried six-hundred feet under the Earth's surface. It was opened by Lucifer when he performed a spell, unleashing the Horseman. The Host of Heaven in the past rose Death during the days of Noah and enthralled him to wipe out all life on Earth, except for Noah, his family, and two of every species of animal, reincarcerating him afterwards.
Apocalypse World[]
The aspect of Death in Apocalypse World was imprisoned in a coffin by Michael's doppelganger and his Angels. God destroyed it and everything in the alternate universes, but Jack restored everything.
