Adina was one of the thousands of angels who fell from Heaven due to Metatron's spell.
History[]
Season 10[]
Adina, along with Daniel, wanted freedom on Earth and chose to admire the wisdom and beauty he could learn from humans. When another angel came to force him, along with Adina, to go back home, Daniel killed the angel and fled with Adina. This lead to Hannah to recruit Castiel so they could retrieve Daniel and Adina together. Castiel and Hanna at the site the rogue angels only to found Adina is not here and Daniel fishing and they briefly talked about fishes, but Hannah showed hostility and distrust and pointing out Daniel's decision cost the life of one of their own. When Castiel insisted they wait for Adina, the three ended up at Daniel and Adina's hideout, waiting for Adina's arrival. Adina eventually showed up, but she and Hannah became hostile to one another despite Daniel and Castiel's efforts to simply talk it out.
Eventually, Hannah agreed to let the two angels be free but only in death, and starts a fight with Adina, in which Castiel is forced to kill Daniel, because otherwise he would have killed Hannah, as Adina watch the whole scene unfolds in horrified expression. Adina manages to injure Castiel before fleeing.
Following Castiel and Hannah's trails for revenge for the death of Daniel, Adina smites a gas station clerk and ambushed her siblings, where she tossed aside a weakened Castiel and focused on Hannah. She started beating Hannah, as revenge for bothering her and killing Daniel. However, Adina was caught off-guard by the arrival of Crowley who used an angel blade and sliced open Adina's throat, stealing her grace and killed her now that she was mortal. Adina's grace was stored in a vial, and then used by Castiel to replace Theo's burning-out grace so he could survive.
Powers and Abilities[]
Adina appeared to be a regular low-level angel with the powers of one. She lost her powers when her grace was stolen by Crowley.
- Angelic Possession - Like all angels, Adina requires a vessel to exist safely on Earth and needed that vessel's permission.
- Immortality - As an angel, she would never die unless killed, nor would she age unless rendered human by her grace being removed.
- Invulnerability - As an angel, Adina is invulnerable to most forms of harm.
- Supernatural Perception - Being an angel, Adina could see two angels Castiel and Hannah though their vessels.
- Super Strength - As an angel, Adina was stronger than ghosts, humans and most demons.
- Regeneration - Adina was able to heal from the head injury Hannah gave her from hitting Adina in the head with a rock.
- Smiting - Adina killed a gas station clerk with this power.
Weaknesses[]
- Angel Blades - An angel blade could kill Adina.
- Grace Removal - Removing her grace rendered Adina human and caused her to lose her powers.
- Higher Demons - As an regular angel, Adina was no match for high-tier demons, as Crowley was able to caught her off-guard and remove her grace,
- Mortality - After Adina had her grace removed and became human, she became mortal and vulnerable to anything that could harm or kill a normal mortal.
Trivia[]
- In current Hebrew and in Jewish sources throughout the years, her name means "Gentle".
- It is implied that Adina had feelings for, or was possibly in a relationship, with Daniel.
- Crowley took her grace, making her human, and then killed her, meaning she generated a soul and went to Heaven or Hell.
