The Gorai Hadoken (轟雷波動拳 Gourai Hadouken?, "Booming Thunder Surge Fist") is one of Oni's special attacks, introduced in Super Street Fighter IV: Arcade Edition. It is the equivalent of the Shakunetsu Hadoken.

Executed by performing a half-circle backward motion? and pressing punch, Oni fires off a Hadoken that is imbued with electrical energy, much like the Denjin Hadoken. The attack incurs a brief charging period where Oni is vulnerable, similar to Akuma and Evil Ryu's Shakunetsu Hadoken. It can cancel any projectile and continue onwards as long as the clashing projectile cannot do more hits than the thrown Gorai Hadoken.
The Gorai Hadoken shares the Shakunetsu's multi-hitting properties, which are dependent on the punch button pressed, and inflicts more damage and stun. The EX version hits three times and inflicts more stun damage.
