Bananas was a gang member from the first Streets of Rage story. Under the leadership of Ziggy, Bananas was the "heavy-weapons" man of the team and, as such, was allowed to use a bazooka as a weapon. During an attack on Ken's Korner Shop, a Battle Wagon rolled up and Bananas was ordered to destroy it. However, Bananas' rocket shot went wrong; Bananas lost balance and ended up shooting part of a skyscraper off. Ziggy quickly moved to berate his lackey, beginning to state that Bananas had nearly blown them all up, until he realised that Bananas had a bullet hole right in the middle of his head. It was soon revealed that the fatal shot was from either Max Hatchet or Blaze Fielding.
Trivia[]
- Like Ziggy, Bananas liked to say the word "cheez" when worried.
- Bananas looks a lot fatter in the panel he dies in than in previous shots where he is revealed to be quite muscly.
