Behind the scenes[]
The name of this comic was possibly inspired by The Princess Diaries series of young adult novels by Meg Cabot, basis of the popular 2001 Disney movie of the same name.
The incident where Leia drops a water balloon on Tarkin's head is referred to in Jason Hall's later Star Wars Tales story "The Other."
Though not identified in the comic itself, the redhead in Tarkin's airspeeder was identified as Natasi Daala on TheForce.net forums.[2]
