Behind the scenes[]

Rice appeared in Star Wars: Visions in the non-canon short film "The Duel," which was produced by Kamikaze Douga,^[2] and the tie-in novel Ronin: A Visions Novel, which was written by Emma Mieko Candon.^[3] In the stories, rice was a crop that farmers harvested from fields around a village^[2] on the Outer Rim planet Genbara. The rice fields sustained the villagers and were worked by the majority of the settlement's population. An aunty carried baskets of rice on the road to Osou.^[3]
