Pirate Snub Fighter

The Pirate Snub Fighter^[2] was a type of snub-fighter that was used by pirates during the New Republic Era. A group of pirates, including Vane, attempted to shoot down the Mandalorian Din Djarin using these fighters at the asteroid fields at the edge of Nevarro's system. Djarin destroyed several of their fighters before escaping.^[1]

After Pirate King Gorian Shard attacked Nevarro, a group of Mandalorians came to aid the victims of the pirate attack. Shard ordered his snub-fighters to be dispatched to pursue and destroy Djarin, who was participating in the fight. By the end of the battle, all the snub-fighters had been destroyed, besides the one piloted by Vane, who fled the scene in his ship.^[3]
