Olian Okamie was the captain of a pirate starship operating on the edge of the Trax sector. She hired the Snivvian poet Toirboggle to serve on her ship, originally as a "court jester." He ultimately proved to be a capable accountant who kept track of the loot the pirates had stolen, and even revealed to Okamie that one member of the crew was pilfering from the ship's coffers.
