- "Kaan rules!"
- ―LaTor's traditional salute for Skere Kaan
LaTor was a male fallen Jedi in service to Lord Kaan's and his Brotherhood of Darkness.
Biography[]
LaTor was Number Five in the Brotherhood's hierarchy, but during the last weeks of the Ruusan campaign, Kaan's number two, three, and four fell in battle against the Army of Light on Ruusan. LaTor took their place next to the Dark Lord of the Sith.[1]
In the aftermath of the disastrous Seventh Battle of Ruusan, he was wounded and half of his place was covered with a bandage. He retreated with Kaan in the caverns of a valley that would later be known as the Valley of the Jedi. Kaan felt the arrival of the Jedi troops to demand the surrender of their remnants. LaTor confirmed it, and answered to his Lord that there was no alternate strategy, no other way to stop them. Still, Kaan would never surrender. Under his orders, LaTor spent the next two hours to assemble the two thousand Dark Jedi that remained of their Army; a fact that proved their superior intelligence and power than of those who had already perished.[1]
Kaan gave his final speech to the crowd assembled by LaTor, and instructed the creation of a new weapon that would eradicate the Jedi, and the Sith as well. LaTor sealed the speech by shouting the salute to Kaan, which the Dark Jedi repeated. LaTor joined the thousand powerful minds that used the dark side to make a construct that created the thought bomb[1]
Legacy[]
When Kyle Katarn experienced a dream of the past after he was knocked unconscious during later events on Ruusan, Katarn was impressed by his strength in the Force.[1]
