Kalimahr was first mentioned in the current Star Wars canon in 2023 young-adult novel The High Republic: Path of Vengeance, written by Cavan Scott as part of^[1] the Star Wars: The High Republic multimedia project's Phase II.^[2] In the Star Wars Legends continuity, Kalimahr was a planet in the Tython system. It was first mentioned in Star Wars: Dawn of the Jedi 0, a preview issue of the Star Wars: Dawn of the Jedi series of comic books. The issue was published on February 1, 2012, and was written by John Ostrander and penciled by Jan Duursema.^[3]
