A battle in the Thanium sector between the Galactic Republic and the reconstituted Sith Empire took place in 3639 BBY during the the Galactic War. Mandalorian warlord Rimark stole the construction plans for the Void Anvil, a secret Republic mining station and shipyard, and attempted to sell them to the Empire at a minefield in the Thanium sector. However, the Republic caught Rimark and destroyed the shuttle carrying the plans.[3]
