Gabe

Gabe is a character in the Hatchetfield Universe. He is a choir boy at one of the churches in Hatchetfield and is friends with Grace Chasity. He features in Perky's Buds and Abstinence Camp and is played by Jeff Blim.

Perky's Buds[]

Gabe is first seen protesting against Perky's Buds with Grace, marching and waving signs around, shouting "Hey ho, heck no! Perky’s Buds has gotta go!". When Emma Perkins and Ziggs go check out the commotion, Grace tells them that while the devil's weed isn't just bad for the community, but it also threatens the checkered-tail nighthawk population. Ziggs tells her they just tried to shoot the birds, which enrages Grace and Gabe who threaten legal action. Emma and Ziggs get rid of the duo by tossing a bag of manure into their wood-chipper, making it rain fertilizer on Grace and Gabe.

Abstinence Camp[]

As night falls on the second day of camp, Gabe tells a ghost story about Lumber Axe, saying that he kills anyone who is taking part in perverse actions.

After the story, Grace is extinguishing the camp fire, and Gabe works up the courage to tell her that he likes her, and might want to be more than friends. Grace tells him he's a great friend, and skips off. He drops the choir-boy act and is frustrated that she won't sleep with him. He goes to make a wallet, like they're taught to do when they're dealing with frustrations of a certain nature. As it's not working, he decides to take matters into his own hand(s). In his work shed, Lumber Axe hears his pants unzip, and leaves to put an end to it. The door to the arts & crafts pavilion creaks open and the air turns cold. A shadowy figure fills the doorframe- at first Gabe thinks it might be Noah, Pete or Steph, but it is the Lumber Axe himself. He pounds the wallet making stamp into Gabe's forehead, killing him. He then skins Gabe, and uses his skin to make a pile of wallets.

Boy Jerry and Girl Jeri bury his body in secret, and plan on telling Gabe's parents he went missing in the woods.

Personality and Traits[]

Much like his friend Grace Chasity, Gabe is described as being a nerdy prude. He is a dork choir boy who appears quite obnoxious in his beliefs. However, when alone, Gabe is a misogynistic teenage boy who blames girls for not wanting to sleep with him.

Skills[]

• Wallet Making- As a camper at Camp Idontwannabang, Gabe has been trained in making wallets.
• Storytelling- Gabe tells the campers of the story of Lumber Axe while they sit around the camp fire, sufficiently scaring Mary.

Grace Chasity[]

Grace Chasity is Gabe's friend and crush. The two share very similar religious beliefs. They spend time together protesting against Emma's weed farm. The two also share a pew at church and Grace calls them "pew pals". Gabe has a crush on Grace and wants them to be more friends but she is oblivious to this thinking Gabe simply a very good friend, much to his frustration.

Noah[]

Noah is Gabe's friend and fellow camper. He and Noah team up to scare the campers while Gabe tells them the story of Lumber Axe by having Noah jump out of the bushes at them. When he's initially approached by Lumber Axe, Gabe thinks that it's just Noah in disguise.
