Psi Distruptor???[]
I'm afraid that there is a mistake in the title. It should be PSI DISTRUPTER,not DISTRUPTOR. --Rethas 19:41, 13 April 2007 (UTC)
The Confederates didn't use it?[]
I find it hard to believe that the Confederates wouldn't use the Psi Disruptor during the siege of Tarsonis. They must have known that they would need all the help they could get against the Zerg Swarm.
I'm inclined to believe that they DID use the Psi Disruptor, but to no effect. The Overmind's control over the Swarm was much stronger, and therefore much harder to disrupt, when Tarsonis fell than when the UED attacked Char. While the Psi Disruptor was clearly powerful enough to disrupt the infant Overmind's control, maybe it wasn't powerful enough to disrupt the mature Overmind's control. Paviel 07:21, 20 May 2008 (UTC)
We do have to go with what it said in the game.
It's possible they simply hadn't finished the design yet (and Stukov "topped it off"). If the Psi Disrupter had been activated properly, the Overmind would probably have at least commented on "the weak enemy device" or somesuch. Kimera 757 (talk) 12:25, 20 May 2008 (UTC)
