i {Heart} Sketches with a Twist #107

is a really fun design.

I chose to use the sketch only
and took a very clean approach
featuring the adorable
From the Heart

The digital image was printed on gingham card stock
and fussy cut.  The fence and grass dies are from
Sweet 'n Sassy Stamps.  The sentiment was offset
slightly so that you could still view Hamlet's
tiny toes through the fence.

Stickles were added to the candle flame
and a couple of gems for a little "bling".

Not only is the image adorable, but it comes

Unity Friends With Flair

Happy Friday!

It's time again to play along with
their Friends with Flair linky party.

Last week I shared a card using
Unity's new
stamp set.

You can find last week's card Here.

The water color paper and inks were
still on my craft desk so I made
a couple of more versions this week
to share with you.

I used Tim Holtz distress reinkers and a water colors brush
to color the image on water color paper.
A very clean and simple design with a little
ink splatters for interest.

These will be going into my stash for Anniversaries.
Thanks for stopping by and don't forget to leave

Bugaboo - Anything But a Card Monday

I hope everyone had a great weekend!

Monday's at Catch the Bug is
a day for the Design Team to share
project inspiration which is

This week I am sharing an
altered wine bottle photo display.

I started with this fabulous pottery
wine bottle and wrapped it with a sleeve
of burlap.

I corked the bottle and inserted a recycled
photo display pin.

I printed the sweet Bee Bear- Heart String
from the Bugaboo store and colored it
with Copic Markers.

The image was fussy cut and taped to an acrylic
strip to insert behind the large silk flower.

I used my hot glue gun to attach the flower
and sprigs to the burlap.

I really like how this turned out!

Bugaboo - Stella Says Sketch #308

I hope you are having a great weekend!

I'm so glad you stopped by.
Bugaboo has a new
you this week and it
has so many possibilities.

My card features the sweet Sunflower Vase image.

It's difficult to tell from the photo, but I die cut
a window in the gingham panel for the vase.
The vase was printed twice, colored with Copic
Markers and fussy cut for dimension.
I add a machine stitched border and Bakers Twine
to finish.

This will be going to a couple in our
church who is having their
Anniversary later this month.

Many of the Bugaboo images have been marked down
in the shop.  Be sure to check them out and add some of
your favorites to your Bugaboo collection before they are gone!

I am so crazy busy at work that another
week has flown by for me!

I'm still glad that it's Friday though
because that means a chance to play
along with Unity Stamp Company and

I took advantage of one of Angela's fabulous sales
recently and bought the adorable new set

The image seems to be made for watercoloring.
I stamped in Versafine black on water color paper
then used my water brush and distress reinkers to color.
Papers are from the Fiction paper pack
by Basic Grey.
I really like how this turned out!

Because I need some Anniversary
cards in my stash
I opted to use an Itty Bitty sentiment

The color combination was inspired by
