The kid is a minor character who appears in the episodes "Scaredy Pants" and "Big Top Flop," and the book Comic Number 5.
Description[]
He is a teal colored child fish with a rigid dorsal fin, large eyes, and pointy legs. He is dressed as a cowboy for Halloween which consists of a dark gray cowboy hat with a red stripe, a brown vest, and a diagonal belt with a holster on the side.
Role in series[]
The kid has appeared in only two episodes so far, as well as a book that was based on the one of the episodes that he appeared in. He has been absent in the series for over 20 years ever since his debut in "Scaredy Pants," but he made his comeback in the season 13 episode "Big Top Flop."

He tells SpongeBob "trick-or-treat" while he nervously backs out of the Krusty Krab. SpongeBob gets spooked by him and the mom and dad come to him and tell him that he is just "SpongeBob ScaredyPants."

He attends the circus hosted by Mr. Krabs with the mom and dad, appearing among the spectators.
