SpongeBob SquarePants Diner Dash is a SpongeBob SquarePants arcade/computer game released on May 11, 2006, and was published by the San Francisco-based publisher PlayFirst. It was developed by Snap2play and is the SpongeBob version of the original Diner Dash game.
Synopsis[]
Mr. Krabs is sad. He has all the success, but he believes something is missing. So he decides to open up new restaurants. The player has to help SpongeBob serve customers at the Krusty Krab and his other new restaurants.
After the first four restaurants, a fifth restaurant, Le Krab, is opened. King Neptune then gives SpongeBob an extra pair of arms to work twice as much.
In the final scene after beating all the levels, Mr. Krabs happily sits with all the money he made, only to suddenly wake up to the sound of SpongeBob's voice. It is then revealed the whole game was just Mr. Krabs' dream, based on SpongeBob stating they only have one restaurant.

Trivia[]
General[]
- The Dutchman's Inn looks similar to the Flying Dutchman's ship.
- Bubble Bass is featured in this game. When the player gives him good service, they receive a large amount of cash. Otherwise, if the player does not serve him, they lose a lot of points.
- The Chum Bucket is missing across the street on the map, with the Dutchman's Inn taking its place and a fountain in between them.
- The counter inside the Krusty Krab is to the right of the main entrance, when it should be directly across from it. This was corrected in SpongeBob Diner Dash 2: Two Times the Trouble.
- In the cutscene before the final stage, King Neptune uses his trident to give SpongeBob an extra pair of arms; however, SpongeBob is able to grow extra arms himself in episodes such as "Rock-a-Bye Bivalve" and "You Don't Know Sponge."
