Sandy's Blasting Bronco is a steel-launched roller coaster which opened on October 1, 2020. It is located at the Nickelodeon Universe indoor theme park in the American Dream mall in East Rutherford, New Jersey. The ride features a forwards and backwards launch, and two Immelmann loops and one roll over. It was designed by the Liechtenstein-based Swiss manufacturer Intamin and uses the company's usual triangular lattice, high-stress style tracks.
Layout[]
The ride starts with an immediate launch out of the station, hitting a top speed of 47.8 miles per hour. The train quickly navigates a back-to-back pair of Immelmann inversions. The train then exits into a final roll over before it comes to a complete stop in the station. The station then proceeds to spin the train a full 180 degrees around, using a turntable. facing the train backwards. The train goes for its second lap, navigating the launch and layout once again, although with the riders facing backwards. Once the train has returned to the station, the turntable rotates the train back into a forwards-facing position, and riders then unboard.
