Patar!

— Patar, "Ugh"
Character

Patar (also called Prehistoric Pat on his model sheet) is one of Patrick Star's prehistoric ancestors. He first appears in the episode "Ugh."

Description[]

029 PREHISTORIC PAT

Patar's model sheet.

Patar looks a lot like his descendant Patrick, except he has more chest hair, a bigger mouth, a tooth on the bottom instead of the top, and flared nostrils that resemble those of a gorilla since it is prehistoric times.

He wears similar clothes to the present Patrick, but instead of pants, he wears typical caveman leopard skin-like clothes. He is more civilized and tame than the primitive Patrick from "SB-129." He lives in a rock just like his descendant does now.

Personality[]

He is very strong, playful, and curious. Patar is very foolish, even eating his own shirt, exposing him as naked. However, he is also powerful, even crushing Squog when he hugs him at the beginning.

He was friends with SpongeGar and Squog, SpongeBob and Squidward's respective ancestors, However, Squog, unlike Squidward, who is hostile to Patrick, was friendly with Patar as well.

He will eat anything, just so long as it has enough salt on it. Examples are Prehistoric Gary's slime, Mr. Krabs' small ancestors, his clothes, coral, the wood, and even his own burnt hand. He was the first to notice that when he clapped it rained, but got overzealous and caused a thunderstorm, creating fire.

Biography[]

At some point, he lives in a primitive rock.

At some point, he met Squog and SpongeGar.

Along with Squog and SpongeGar, they discovered fire.

Thousands of years after Patar's death, he may have ended up in the Bikini Bottom Museum.

Role in series[]

"Ugh"[]

He is one of the cavemen. He emerges from his rock calling his name after Squog bumped into it after slipping on Prehistoric Gary's slime. Patar soon eats the slime on Squog after putting salt on it before hugging Squog and greeting SpongeGar.

Soon, he and SpongeGar discover fire and with Squog they partake in cooking many things before fighting over the fire for the rest of the episode before the fire goes out, due to the rain.

"Atlantis SquarePantis"[]
