The business man, also known as BusinessFish 50[1] is a character who first appears in the episode "Can You Spare a Dime?"

Description[]

The business man's model sheet

He is a purple fish with darker purple fins and lips, and green stripes on his arms and dorsal fin. He wears black round glasses, brown pants, a beige shirt, a magenta tie, and a black belt and shoes.

Pineapple Playhouse[]

He is a puppet of his normal variant. He is a basic lavender colored fish puppet that wears his glasses, his shirt, and his necktie.

BusinessFish 50[]

He wears a white dress shirt with a red tie and dark gray pants. The lines on his fins are colored lavender instead of his natural neon green colored lines.

The business man has made a decent amount of appearances throughout the series. He is mostly portrayed as a businessman or an executive, but he has also been portrayed as a regular citizen of Bikini Bottom as well.

SpongeBob SquarePants[]

"Can You Spare a Dime?"/"Can You Spare a Dime?: Puppet Edition!"[]

He makes an appearance when taking back the box Squidward is sitting in when he is asking for spare change. He leaves shortly after with the box in hand.

"Money Talks"[]

At the Krusty Krab, he wants to sit at the table by the window, which is occupied by Old Man Walker and Incidental 87. SpongeBob tells him that he will be able to once the present customers leave. The business man suggests that a $5 bill will speed up the process, but SpongeBob does not understand how that is possible. Mr. Krabs is then informed about the situation and kicks Old Man Walker and Incidental 87 out of the restaurant in favor of the business man's money, letting him sit at his table of choice.

"Goodbye, Krabby Patty?"[]

He angrily stares at SpongeBob and Patrick along with other fish as they brush their teeth in front of a display mirror.

"Snooze You Lose"[]

He walks out of the concert hall with his trumpet on his head, as the conductor did not like his act and was very brutal about it.

"Krusty Kleaners"[]

The executive is one of the fish working for the tank company. He is seen when SpongeBob pogo jumps in his cubicle.

"Call the Cops"[]

He takes a picture of Mr. Krabs and SpongeBob hugging.

"The Krusty Slammer"[]

He is seen at the Krusty Slammer eating with Incidental 95. When the prisoners start throwing tomatoes, Incidental 95 and the business man leave the restaurant.
