Miskatonic University is a college university in Arkham, Massachusetts. It is named after the Miskatonic River, a landmark in Arkham. The university has a medical school, and a school library that contains occult books, including the Necronomican, which was recently stolen.
One of the teachers in the university is the eccentric Dr. Henry West, who teaches about the strange science of Necrobiology. Rick Taylor and his girlfriend, Jennifer Willis are both students in the Miskatonic University.
