Transformers: Rise of the Beasts is an American science fiction action film based on Hasbro's Transformers toy line and primarily influenced by the plot of the animated series Beast Wars. It is the sequel to Bumblebee (2018) and the second installment of the reboot of the Transformers film saga.
The film focuses on Optimus Prime during 1994 in Brooklyn, New York, 7 years after the events of Bumblebee (2018), parts of Peru, the latter having many local references to the country.4​5​ The project is a joint production between Skydance Media, Hasbro, Di Bonaventura Pictures, New Republic Pictures and Bay Films.
Transformers: Rise of the Beasts was released in Latin America on June 8, 2023, and in the United States on June 9 by Paramount Pictures. Two more sequels are currently in development.
The film had its premiere at Marina Bay Sands in Singapore on May 27, 2023 and was released theatrically in the United States on June 9, 2023 by Paramount Pictures. The film received mixed to positive reviews from critics and has currently grossed $439 million worldwide on a production budget of $195 to $200 million, competing against Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse during its opening week. and it ended up being a box office success, but being the lowest-grossing film of the entire saga.6​
