This is a sound effect associated with Nintendo's Super Mario series. It was originally designed for the NES game Mario Bros.. It shouldn't be confused for Nintendo GameBoy Startup Sound/Sound Ideas, COMPUTERS - VIDEO GAME 5 - SOUND 7.
