The Foremen combine into a huge robot to defend the Dream Factory!

The Four Man is a character that appears in the Sonic the Hedgehog series. It is a large Eggman-like Badnik that uses the Factory Foremen as weapons, as well as being a subordinate of Dr. Eggman and the Guardian of the Guardian Hunter during the Reverie incident.

Appearance[]

The Four Man is a giant Badnik, modeled after Dr. Eggman. Its chest has a Classic-era Dr. Eggman outfit for its design at the bottom and there appears to be an energy source at its top. Its face has Eggman's mustache, nose and glasses as well as a plug-like hat. Its limbs are four smaller "Factory Foremen" Badniks, they have no arms and legs, as well as a similar looking head to the Four Man's body, though they all have different expressions:

  • A green robot with a happy expression and a red robot with an angry expression serve as the Four Man's arms.
  • A blue robot with a sad expression and an orange robot with a bored expression that are smaller than the arms serve as the Four Man's legs.

Their bodies are round and they sport drills on their bottoms which they use to spin around like tops.

History[]

Sonic Dream Team[]

In Sonic Dream Team, a blue, orange and green Foremen rise up into the center of the arena, looking around before they spot Tails/Cream and Cheese (depending on who the player chooses) and prepare to attack them. They turn around to see if the fourth Foreman has arrived, but they don't show up. Not wanting to wait for their late co-worker, the three Foremen decide to just go ahead and battle Tails/Cream and Cheese.

After all three are defeated, the last Foreman finally appears, and they all summon the Four Man. It is later defeated by either Tails, or Cream and Cheese, but the Guardian Hunter is already finished and is released as the window showcasing it closes down.

Powers and Abilities[]

On their own, the Foremen can electrically charge themselves and ram into intruders, as their only mean of attack. With other Foremen, they can create a formation of electricity that can only be dodged by moving out of the way, but they can only do this for so long. Their weakness is a button on the top of their heads, obscured by their hats.

When combining with the Four Man, they can circle around the arena while two beams of electricity are fired at different heights, and thanks to it continuously spinning, this makes avoiding the Four Man difficult. It can also raise the Nightmare Fuel levels to deter intruders, but this makes the Four Man malfunction and reveal its weak spot.

Battle[]

The Four Man is the boss of Dream Factory in Sonic Dream Team. It is fought with either Tails or Cream.

Boss guide[]

Phase 1[]

The first phase of the fight is up against three of the Factory Foremen, as their fourth member has yet to show up. They start in the middle of the arena and will create laser walls around each other to form a triangle among themselves. The laser wall is dangerous to touch and the player will lose rings if they come into contact with it. After a brief moment of avoiding their movements, the Factory Foremen will go to their stations to recharge. They will take off their hats, allowing the player to hit them. It only takes one hit to damage one of the Foremen. After one of them is damaged, the remaining Foremen will change their attack formation into a line and will move in circular movement. When there is only one left, it will completely change its way of attacking, now dashing at the player instead of using a laser wall.

Phase 2[]

After all three Foremen are taken out, the red Foreman will finally enter the fight and the Four Man will come from the ceiling. The Factory Foremen will connect to the limbs of the robot to form the Four Man in its entirety. The robot will attack by spinning on itself and will create two laser walls using two of its limbs. Sometimes when attacking, it will be moving on the edge of the arena, making it harder to avoid without getting hurt. After attacking for a while, it will go recharge and take off its hat, allowing the player to attack. Unlike the Factory Foremen, however, it will raise the Nightmare Fuel level, submerging the arena. Tails or Cream will have to fly up to a platform where they will be safe and attack using a Homing Attack. It takes Two hits (or 7 if playing the harder version) to defeat it. In the harder version if the fight, the Four Man may take off his hat while attacking, leaving an opportinity for it to be damaged itself.
