The Setting Dawn is an object that appears in the Sonic the Hedgehog comic series and its spin-offs published by Archie Comics. It is a pirate ship under the command of Captain Shellbreaker, as well as the main base of operations for the Pirates of the Setting Dawn.

History[]

The Case of the Pirate Princess[]

The Setting Dawn first appeared during a conversation between Vector the Crocodile, Echo the Dolphin and Razor the Shark, who were all searching for the missing Princess Undina. Despite warnings from Espio and Charmy, the rest of the group were too late to notice the coming danger and everyone was hauled onto the ship's deck along with Echo's car.^[1]
