Scorpius is a character that appears in the Sonic the Hedgehog comic series and its spin-offs published by Archie Comics. It is a scorpion-based robot.
Appearance[]
Scorpius resembles a giant red and gray mechanical scorpion with six legs and Dr. Eggman's face.
History[]
Sonic Comic Origins[]
Scorpius was once used in a training simulator aboard the Sky Patrol for the Freedom Fighters. Despite its unnerving disposition, it was soon brought down by the heroes.[1][2][3][4]
Powers and abilities[]
Scorpius' tail is equipped with a cannon that fires powerful lasers.[1]
Trivia[]
- Scorpius is based on the boss of the same name from Sonic Spinball. Likewise, Sonic's description of the robot's appearance as "mentally scarring" is an allusion to how it was notorious for frightening people who played the game.
