Planet Wisp is a location mentioned in the Sonic the Hedgehog comic series and its spin-offs published by Archie Comics. It is an alien planet and the home world of an alien species known as Wisps.

History[]

Past[]

Long ago, in a possible event of an incident involving the Time Eater, Planet Wisp was visited by Sonic and a future version of himself. However, after the monster was defeated, Sonic would slowly forget the events of his adventure.[1][2]

Much later, Planet Wisp was pulled to Sonic's World by Dr. Eggman in an attempt to utilize the local Wisps in a scheme for universal conquest. The planet would later be visited by Sonic and Tails, who would liberate it from the doctor's control. In the end, Planet Wisp was returned to normal and freed from Eggman's rule.[3][4][5] Shortly after that incident however, Planet Wisp became victim of Eggman's tampering of space-time using the Time Eater. In a possible event during this incident, Sonic, accompanied by a younger version of himself, traversed across Planet Wisp.[2]

Shattered World Crisis[]

At some point while Sonic's World was being hit by the Shattered World Crisis, Planet Wisp visited by the Black Arms for a project conducted by Eclipse the Darkling. While Planet Wisp was left unharmed by the Black Arms, some Wisps were taken in order to cultivate the Dark Arms.[6]
