Lieutenant Knuckles^[1] is a character that appears in the Sonic the Hedgehog comic series and its spin-offs published by Archie Comics. He is a mobian echidna, an alternate counterpart of Knuckles the Echidna from the Litigopolis Zone, and the commander of the Echidna Troopers.

Appearance[]

Lieutenant Knuckles mostly resembles his Prime counterpart, with his main differentiating features being his eyes, which are connected, rather than separated, and his trooper uniform.^[1]

Law of the Land[]

Lieutenant Knuckles led his Echidna Troopers in an attempt to capture Sonic the Hedgehog, but was unable to capture him due to the hedgehog's speed. Reporting to Johnny Snively of his failure, he was assured by him that Sonic would be captured eventually. Later, Lieutenant Knuckles managed to locate Sonic, and attempted to arrest him, but was clobbered with a suitcase by Sally McAcorn before he could do so.^[1]
