The Iron Blimp[1] is a vehicle that appears in the Sonic the Hedgehog comic series and its spin-offs published by Archie Comics. It is a dirigible used by the Iron Dominion.

Appearance[]
The Iron Blimp resembles a crimson blimp with an yellow eastern-themed structure on its top, a yellow command chamber with green windows on its underside, two yellow strings on its backside, and a long yellow pole on its front all of which are connected by lengths of beaded string.[2]
Features and traits[]
In addition to being capable of flight, the Iron Blimp is large enough to transport entire armies within a single trip.[2]
History[]
Iron Dominion Takeover[]
Following the defeat of Eggman and the fall of his Eggman Empire, the Iron Queen had all the forces of the Iron Dominion and its subsidiaries loaded into the Iron Blimp, and transported to the Eggdome.[2][3]
Trivia[]
- Although the Iron Blimp was never named in the comic series, writer Ian Flynn referred to it as the "Iron Blimp" on his message board.[1]
