The Flying Bomber[1] is an enemy that appears in Tails Adventure. It is an anthropomorphic bird and the aerial bombers of the Battle Kukku Empire.
Appearance[]
Flying Bombers are anthropomorphic birds with a large head covered by a orange round helmet and wide goggles. They have orange pointed beaks and feet and a white plumage. Unlike the majority of the Battle Kukku Empire, Flying Bombers have full wings for arms.
Overview[]
In Tails Adventure, Flying Bombers appear as enemies. They are encountered on the surface of Lake Rocky, throughout Lake Crystal and during the air strike section of Battle Fortress 1.
In gameplay, Flying Bombers attack by swooping in and dropping bombs on the Sea Fox, before flying away. As the player approaches Lake Crystal in the last section of Lake Rocky, the player has to look out Flying Bombers as Tails reaches the sea in his Sea Fox. There, Flying Bombers hover close to the surface and start dropping bombs down on Tails if he get too close to them. At Lake Crystal, Flying Bombers appear to drop bombs regularly while Tails is trying to move up the counter flow of the river. The only weapon that can defeat the Flying Bombers in these locations is the Anti-air Missile. However, the Flying Bombers must be defeated quickly, or they will just fly away. At the Battle Fortress 1 however, the player can attack and defeat the Flying Bombers with any of the Sea Fox's weapons.
Like many other enemies in Tails Adventure, Flying Bombers may drop a Ring upon being defeated.
Powers and abilities[]
Being the only members of the Battle Kukku Empire with natural wings, the Flying Bombers are capable of flight.
Equipment[]
The Flying Bombers carry around round black bombs that they use for aerial bombardment of their enemies.
