Drill-bots are characters that appear in the Sonic the Comic series published by Fleetway Editions. They are large tunnelling robots used for mining diamonds in the Eldorado Zone, which was built on the site of the old Diamond Mine Zone.

History[]

One drill-bot went berserk when it detected the jewellery of the Eldorado Zone residents in a fancy restaurant called Chez Pierre. It burrowed up through the ground and caused a lot of damage. Fortunately, Tails was on hand to shut it down and ensure that nobody was hurt.^[1]

Powers and Abilities[]

The Drill-bots are capable of burrowing. Additionally, they are equipped with diamond sensors that let them home in on any diamonds.
