Dan Rossati is the current creative director at Sega Hardlight and the writer for Sonic Dream Team. He has worked in the company ever since 2020.[2] He spent under two of his years in the company working on Sonic Dream Team.[3]

He has been a Sonic fan ever since the age of six, he was captivated by the physics and motion of Sonic the Hedgehog and spent time dreaming about potential Sonic games, his job at Sega Hardlight gave him the opportunity to make that vision come light.[4]
